Konftel makes major push into Finland and the Baltics in partnership with Brightstar

Konftel, the world’s leading manufacturer of conference phones and video conferencing equipment, is pushing into Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with the help of distributor Brightstar.
“We’ve worked successfully with Brightstar in the rest of the Nordics for many years, so they seemed like the obvious choice as we work to drive up sales in this region,” explains Jörgen Rönnqvist, Area Sales Manager Nordics and Baltics at Konftel.

Jörgen Rönnqvist, Area Sales Manager Nordics and Baltics at Konftel, looks forward to working with Brightstar as the new distributor for Finland and the Baltics.

The office landscape and working practices are changing at a rapid pace, with many new huddle rooms and an increase in more spontaneous distance meetings. Combined with a growing awareness that business travel is bad for the environment and a new generation of employees raised in a digital age, this is forcing up demand for smart and reliable distance meeting products in Finland and the Baltics.

Huge market potential

“I know that Konftel’s broad portfolio of products has great market potential in our region,” says Jon Grundström, who is Country Manager Finland & The Baltic Countries at Brightstar. “There is a widespread need to upgrade meeting rooms in all the countries that we operate in and things are moving fast right now. It will be a pleasure to work with the Nordic region’s strongest manufacturer of distance meeting solutions to make sure we can meet the market’s huge demand.”

Konftel’s latest conference phone, the Konftel 800, has already won a Red Dot Design Award, which will play well in this region, where design is a key factor. The fact that the Konftel 800 can be controlled from your own mobile phone via the Konftel Unite is another important feature in this mature smartphone market. The Konftel 800 also lies at the heart of the Konftel C50800 Hybrid video solution, which fully supports Bring Your Own Meeting, where the user brings their collaboration app of choice to the meeting room on their laptop.

Konftel C50800 Hybrid is Konftel’s new premium package for video conferencing in medium to large meeting rooms, and one of the solutions that distributor Brightstar will now be launching in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

“The new flagship Konftel 800 and its associated video package will be a key product in promoting the whole spectrum of solutions for meeting rooms of different sizes. We’ll also be making the most of all the experience we’ve gained from Brightstar’s successful work with Konftel in the other Nordic countries. Covering the whole of the Nordic and Baltic region now allows us to further improve our level of service for our resellers who operate in several of these markets,” says Jon Grundstrom, Country Manager Finland & The Baltic Countries at Brightstar. .
