How to clean your conferencing endpoints
In light of the current situation and increased awareness of maintaining a safe and healthy environment, there might be some questions about cleaning our products. The general advice from us at Konftel is to follow WHO:s recommendations for a safe workplace.
We have gathered all of our cleaning information in a new article, you can find it here. In short, we always recommend a clean microfiber cloth or a damp cleaning wipe. You always need to avoid liquid entering the product, therefore spraying any cleaner on the device is not recommended.
If you want a antimicrobial cleaner for the displays on Konftel 300-series and the screens on Konftel 55-series and Konftel 800, we recommend Hydrogen Peroxide cleaning solutions (0.5% or greater H202).

Advices for the workplace
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), at the time of writing this article, it’s not certain how long the novel coronavirus survives on surfaces and whether people can be infected by touching the same surface as someone ill with COVID-19. We therefore recommend that the best precautions to minimize infection are:
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
- Make sure your workplaces are clean and hygienic.
- Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
