• Can I change the Bluetooth name on the Konftel 60W?
  • No. In some mobile phones you can rename the Konftel locally in the phone.
• Can the conference phone be plugged directly into the wall?
  • No, the Konftel are connected to the audio portion of your normal system telephone. Call as normal with your telephone and the Konftel 50 or 60W works as a speaker unit.
• How do I connect a conference call via my system phone? I have no R button.
  • First connect the conference call with your system telephone. Turn on the Konftel when all parties are connected.
• How do I pair Konftel 60W to my mobile phone using Bluetooth?
  • Make sure that Bluetooth is activated in your mobile phone, please refer to your mobile phone User Guide. Make sure that the LEDs on the Konftel 60W is off. Press the TRIM-button for 3 seconds until the LEDs start flashing. Search for Konftel 60W in the list of Bluetooth devices and enter the passkey "0000". The Konftel will now turn on automatically when you place a call.
• How do I set up a conference call with a Konftel telephone?
  • If three parties wish to have a conference call, it can be done with the help of the three party conference call function in the telephone network/PBX. If more than three parties are to engage in the conference call, you can use a conference call service provided by a service provider.
• I hear an echo during the call. What should I do?
  • Perform a manual room calibration (trimming). This is heard as static of about 0.5 seconds in length. From the remote or the keyboard, do the following: * Konftel 50 and 60W: Press the Trim button. * Konftel 100/D and 100/R: Press the + and - volume buttons simultaneously. * Konftel 100, 200 and 200NI: Press the volume buttons (down arrow /up arrow) simultaneously or press the trim button on the remote. You could also try to lowering the volume on the Konftel to improve the audio quality.
• My cell phone doesn't transfer the call to the Konftel 60W.
  • On some cell phones you must press "transfer to..." during the call to send the audio to the Konftel. You can force the Konftel to take over the call if you press and hold the ON/OFF-button on the Konftel for 3 seconds.

Other

• Can the Konftel be connected to an analogue telephone?
  • The Konftel 50/60W can be connected to virtually all system telephones. If you have an analogue telephone, we recommend the Konftel 250, 100 or Konftel 300, which can be connected to the same connection as your normal analogue telephone.
• Which telephones work with the conference phone?
  • The conference unit can be connected to virtually all system/IP telephones on the market. For a more detailed check the Interoperability for this product.

Audio

• I get no audio when using Bluetooth, what am I doing wrong?
  • Please note that the Konftel 60W should be in idle mode (LEDs should be turned off) when you want to use the Konftel 60W with Bluetooth. If you have paired the phone to the Konftel 60W and it's connected, you only have to dial the number on the mobile phone and Konftel 60W should automatically transfer the audio from the mobile.
• I have a Konftel 50/60W and get no sound. What is the problem?
  • • Check that the telephone is turned on. The LEDs should be lit.
    • Trim the Konftel 100/D manually by pressing the volume buttons + and – at the same time. With the Konftel 50 and 60W, press the Trim button.
    • Check that the setting on the switchbox is in the right position. See the user instructions under Switchbox.
    • Check that all cables are properly connected. Disconnect any extension cables and see if the system works. If not, contact your retailer.
    • If you have connected the Konftel 50, 60W or to a PC, check that the sound card and software are capable of Full Duplex. Also check that you have connected the Y cable plugs to the right output on your PC. See the user instructions, under Volume settings.
    • Check that the party you are calling or connecting to has a conference unit, sound card, and software that is capable of Full Duplex, and has sufficient capacity (bandwidth) on their connection. If this does not help, contact your retailer or our technical support.
• The person on the other end who called in to the meeting says they hear an echo. What should I do?
  • Decrease the volume a notch on the Konftel as shown in the instructions in the user guide.
• The person on the other end who called in to the meeting thinks I sound faint/too loud, What should I do?
  • The microphone volume can be adjusted. Increase/decrease the volume a notch as shown in the instructions in the user guide, under Volume settings for microphones.
• When connecting the telephone clicks one or more times. What is the problem?
  • There is nothing wrong. Some Konftel telephones make this noise at the beginning of every call. Either once or three times. When this click occurs, a room calibration takes place to ensure that the telephone works perfectly in your room. When the click occurs three times, it is because the room has difficult acoustics, such as a long echo (longer than 0.5 seconds) or the level of background noise is louder than 45 dBA. Because of the environment, the telephone does not then provide optimal performance.
