Please use the power adapter and hold the MUTE-button while you power up the unit. It should boot into upgrade mode. Upgrade the phone using SD card or with Konftel Upgrade Utility. When the upgrade has completed successfully you will be able to start your phone.
Make sure that it is the Konftel microphone that's used when you talk. The LEDs on the Konftel should be blue when the microphone is active. Sometimes you will have to restart Internet Explorer before you can use the Konftel 55 as audio device.
Yes, you will get both speaker and microphone audio to your headset when it's connected to the Konftel 55 series. No audio will be going to the speaker and microphone on the Konftel 55. See video below on how to connect the headset.
When you connect the Konftel 55 and Konftel 55Wx with USB, also make sure to plug the wall power to the unit. The wall power adapter with a separate connection cable is included in the original box. This will make sure that you have a unit with optimal audio performance.
Launch the Konftel Upgrade Utility, which you will find in your start menu, and follow the instructions.
We recommend that you allow the Konftel Upgrade Utility to automatically download and install the latest software.
When you are done, you can close the Konftel Upgrade Utility and restart your Konftel.
Manual software download
It is also possible to download the latest version and install the file directly from your computer using the Konftel Upgrade Utility. This can be useful if you have restricted internet access or if a conference phone is not installed and connected to the internet. Another option is to update the software with an SD memory card. (The Konftel 55Wx uses the same software for updating via an SD card as for updating via the Konftel Upgrade Utility).
All Konftel models come with a two-year warranty. The warranty is invalidated if the product has been damaged due to negligence, incorrect use, manipulation or unauthorized modification or if the product has been subjected to fire, an electrical storm or a power surge. A fee will be charged for returned products that are found to have no faults.
